Review ME, a program offered by Text Link Ads, is the latest entry into the paid blogging market and seems poised to take over the fledgling paid bloggers market. Their service offer bloggers like myself paid opportunities to review and promote services from advertisers in an easy to use web interface. I have worked with Text Link Ads for quite some time now and come to find them a real pleasure to wrok with. They pay a far rate on time each time every month and respond quickly to any emails or questions I’ve had.
Paid blogging is a controversial subject in online marketing and the discussion revolves around whether bloggers that have been paid to post should divulge their relationship with advertisers. Review Me takes care of that by forcing paid bloggers to disclose the fact they were paid to make a post. That would be ethical blogging as far as I’m concerned and I have no problem in letting you know I made $15 for this post. It took me about 15 minutes to write which amounts to $60 per hour which is a fair rate for my spare time.
I’m kinda new to these paid bloggers services but I think its a great idea. We know bloggers have been paid to write things for a long time now and Review Me clears the air with their disclosure policies. I don’t mind people selling things to me but when they try to sneak the sales pitch by you it becomes the most annoying. Product reviews and endorsements are a fact of life and an open honest policy like that Review Me offers makes the most sense to me. The fact they will not allow advertisers to require a positive review simply enforces an open policy of honest reviews and paid placements.
Review Me has set the bar as far as ethical paid blogging is concerned and receives my highest endorsement for providing a morally superior program from an trustworthy player with a established history of paying me well and on time.
