Revenue Program Review – PayPerPost.com

Ok, I’ve been with PayPerPost.com for over two years now and never written a review of their services. I have mentioned them in the past as m=part of my marketing efforts but it was only recently I decided to start writing more about my revenue programs.

As mentioned paid blogging is one of my favorite ways to generate some cash and PayPerPost.com has been a big part of that. They are the first paid blogging programs with their introduction causing quite a stir and controversy over the merits of paid blogging.

When I began with them it was actually quite amzing. I could easily generate an additional $100 per day in revuenue with 3 or 4 blog posts and that was what some people try to earn over all. It was sweet to say I could use an extra few bucks this week and I could sit down to do some writing and get paid big bucks for my time. I would take the time and create the best blog posts I could with well researched anchor text and deep links for everyone. I personally wrote some of my best articles because I was being paid to do so.

Today I logged in with the exact same blogs which have all lost a little bit of traffic in the past year. I have not done much for link building and website promotion on some of my blogs and even some have not been written to much in the past year. I would expect things to change some and maybe there would be a change in price for blog posts on my sites but what I saw this morning was downright depressing. I have a number of PR4 website still listed with them because I quit paid posts on my more popular blogs some time ago. A PR4 website is like bread and butter in the industry and a decent money maker for the efforts in most cases.

Today the best I could get from PayPerpost.com were some unrelated websites with a top price of $9 per post which is a far cry from the $35 these sites earned a year ago. I can only imagine that advertising dollars are drying up and the fierce competition in the blogging market has created a surplus in bloggers who will write just about anything for a buck or two.

PayPerPost.com has the best system for paid blogging and has been the most reliable revenue program for paid blogging but the volume and price per post has dropped dramatically and its just plain harder to make that extra $100.
